Studio Schicketanz embraced the principles of sthapatya veda for this retreat designed and built for a close-knit family from southern California.
The main residence, guest house, and barn have been built; three studios are underway. The singular vision is for a compound that can shift and adapt uses depending on family needs: for work, meditation, meals, music, games, and celebrations. All utilities have been installed underground in order to preserve the pristine nature of this ancient plot of land.
